An Ode to that which is unchangeable
The infinite present.
-
We keep the present moment an arm length away because we are afraid (stuck in our thinking mind)
Afraid we cannot handle the moment.
Afraid it will break our hearts.
Afraid for the feelings wanting to move through us.
But to be present means letting it all in.
It means to kneel down and surrender.
And while you are letting the moment in, whatever that moment brings. You anchor yourself in your Heart, your Selt. That which is ever present and steady. It is an openess, a stillness. It is always Here.
It is the anchor you are looking for.
So even if this present moment brings you hopelessness, loneliness or suffering, let it in. Be with it. Let it move through you.
Let it break your heart wide open.
Treat it as a holy guest.
It is a gift.
Anchor yourself in your Heart.
Love every dark thought and heavy feeling.
Treat every moment as if it is your last.
Every breath as if it is your last.
Fully open yourself to it.
And even if you feel so disconnected from yourself, so far away from being present, like you are floating above your life, be with that.
Let that loneliness and seperated feeling fully in.
And you will arrive next to your heart.
You will land in wholeness.
Being with that what is. Instead of reaching, searching or needing it to change.
Life is constantly changing. Nothing is permanent. Moments come and go. Laughter comes and goes. Grief comes and goes. People come and go. Experiences come and go.
Birth and Death are constantly present.
Love and Grief go hand in hand.
Within everything.
Every moment so sacred, because perhaps your last. This knowing, this grief, this emptiness, it brings a vulnerable soft opening.
It brings you Home to that which always IS.
Because there is one thing that is unchangeable and that is the infinite formlessness of your Being.
The Love that you Are.
And it is expierenced in the infinite present.
